The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Emergency Management System (EMS) and Tourism Emergency Response Network (TERN) Site and related online activities are a free public service provided by the UNWTO and other public and private Site Partners, including the Microsoft Corporation.

The multi-stakeholder TERN framework is designed as a global resource for the sector with UNWTO as convener and portal provider of an expanding collection of EMS resources that may serve as a reference point for involved public sector, private sector and civil society interests, as well as travelers themselves. We plan over time, with help from partners, to make this Resource section an increasingly useful resource for the sector.
